Movement, breath and rest are the building blocks of every class at Encourage. How we use those elements depends on the overall strategy for the class and the make-up of the assembled group.

Regardless of the class’ style, our aim is to sequence a practitioner’s energy away from the distractions that typically consume her/his awareness and to instead lead it towards an expansive clarity that lies within.

What differentiates one class from another is whether it’s primarily movement-, breath- or rest-oriented as well as the pace of the movement; the athletic challenge (relative to the other classes); and the amount of handcrafted customization you can expect.
